Whenever someone says to me, ‘look, it’s ‘hard’ to do this or that,’ I sometimes sarcastically reply with,
‘Hard was getting man to the moon; harder was getting him back!’
It’s my way of saying, don’t give me an excuse, give me a solution.
It’s not life or death. It’s simple, just not easy.
I’m a big believer that hard should not be in our vocabulary. It should be replaced with ‘necessary.’ It’s the only way to move forward.
I dislike excuses.
I dislike the necessity of accountability (but I know it 100% works).
I dislike making mistakes (but I know it’s part and parcel of progress).
If ‘hard’ seems to become an often-used word or thought, replace it with the word ‘necessary.’

If you have a ‘Plan B,’ you haven’t fully committed to ‘Plan A.’
‘Plan A’ needs your 100% commitment to work. When you only have a ‘Plan A’ you only focus on problem-solving and formulating solutions.
Having a ‘Plan B’ opens the opportunity to ‘quit’ when things get tough. Instead of pushing through, your mindset may start to explore for ‘Plan B.’ The more time you spend thinking of Plan B, the less time you have to focus on executing Plan A.
That’s why many are constantly searching for the magic bullet. They are avoiding going ‘all-in’ on Plan A. Hoping to find an easier path when challenges appear.
It’s not to say that you shouldn’t plan for bumpy rides; have cash reserves for the unexpected, reviewing your progress and making adjustments along the way.
However, with all worthwhile goals & dreams, those that ‘burn the bridge,’ and have no other plan but to make their initial plan work, always seem to achieve their targets. It’s simply a commitment to never give up, & those individuals that have it, are often impossible to beat.
What your Plan A should look like this week: Understand the current market. Focus on the buyers. Revisit past appraisals; move warm sellers to now sellers. Get INTIMATE with your contacts.
